i Suggested this before, but since HANA hasn't promoted
their "Jump into the pool" Party recently, i thought i'd
give it another boot for the fall.
How about a "Show Pool Parley Party" on a
Monday/Tuesday Night @Mountaineer? (Races 5-6-7? 6-7-8?)
(5th race Apprx. 8:40pm/et ~ 6th race start to event would be a bit after 6PM/pt)
Pick a Three Race sequence in the middle of the Mountain card,
& ask members to put in a SHOW Wager in the first leg
of the sequence on any horse they like. With an inflated
Show pool, Payouts will likely be higher than normal.
Folks that win the first leg would then PARLEY their win
on a horse in the 2nd leg; Win that,& bettors have a nice
chunk potentially to send in on a horse in the last leg.
BEST of ALL, THE INFLATED POOLS will be there on The TOTEBOARD
for all (Track management, Bettors,& Media, if given adv.notice)
to witness! Solid handicapping by our members could result
in a Whale of a Show Pool for the last leg, & it's not like a
typical "Bridgejump" situation, since members can bet
whomever they like!
