It's hard to quit drinking.
Good for him.

But he wasn't a stinking drunk who let a young girl drown.

And a great President.
Ushered in 30 years of economic growth and ushered out the Iron Curtain.
Restored integrity to the White House after that dolt Carter.
Much like Romney will do after this dolt Obama.
The stench this time will harder to eradicate.

I make it a habit to never malign the dead; except in those rare cases of brutal dictators, terrorists or Jeffrey Dahmer types.

In fantasyland he did. In real life those thirty years saw recessions in 1981, 1982, 1990, 1991, 2001, and 2007, 2008 and 2009. That same 1981 to 2012 era saw eleven months of unemployment higher than 10%. Only one of those occurred during our most recent recession. The other 10 occurred during Reagan's early years. Also occurring at that time were the lowest GDP growth rates in our history, stagnant wages, soaring homelessness and record deficits.
I'm laughing too hard to comment on the Iron Curtain thing.
Restored integrity to the White House after that dolt Carter.
How did he do that? Was it by illegally selling missiles to the Iranians? Was it by then giving the money to the Nicaraguan rebels? That also was against the law and against international accords which we signed. Or did Reagan restore integrity by feigning memory loss when questioned about these events?
What about when he interfered in negotiations for the release of the hostages by promising Iran the missiles discussed above if they would just wait to release them until after he took office. Extending the captivity of American citizens was a great way to restore integrity.
The stench this time will harder to eradicate.

Might I suggest that you flush more often,
