Free 1st call test selections.
Wanting to see how often I can pick the first call leader... I am assuming its 2 furlongs on sprints and 4 on routes.. although my software gives a time for 2 furlongs out on sprints. I will go with the first chart call.
Going to do 100 and see if I can pick above 60%.

last 1000 races in all dist all surfaces, first call leader won 29% of the time. Roi was 1.30
if the first call leader was the favorite it returned 1.15 and won 53% of the time.. you would have to be correct 100% of the time as to whether the fav would make the lead.. impossible..just to win 1.15...

I have decided if I have no clue or info to go on then I wont make a pick.. I will try to make a guess if i can SEE it not a guess between 4 horses that have equal speed on paper.

Good luck, I had a lot of them on the front yesterday...they couldn't hold on. Did have a couple bombs run 3rd.

Thanks Mike... this is really fun to do, probably a good exercise...
4 of 10 so far... makes you wonder if you only played tracks with known speed bias how you would fare... would it adjust on its own because of smart players like mountainman...
