Just saw the current odds...The All Others is 3-5.

I know that the Futures strike some folks as a silly bet, but I've always liked to have some fun with it. Can't see making that play, though.

Union Rags is 9-1; Algorithms is 14-1. The rest are much higher.

the will pays for the $2 exactas are pretty tempting tbh...i placed an $2 exacta on gemologist and hansen, the current will pay is $870.00

all others 9-5

union rags 7-1

algoritms 13-1

el padrino 16-1 (and he doesn't even have any grade stakes money yet--at this low, i can't see why anyone would bother tbh)

hansen 25-1 (i have a $50 win bet on him, i'm hoping he climbs to at least 30-1 before the betting closes on sunday)

liaison 60-1

rousing sermon 80-1

longview drive 99-1 (i have a $2 win bet on him, he's already got $100,000 in graded earnings and has won carrying 120lbs twice already...so why not )

I like to take an occassionalt stab at the pools if I can get good odds on horses that have at least some graded earnings, a decent beyer already and some decent breeding as per Mr. Roman. Took an early stab with win bets on Empire Way (30-1), Take Charge Indy (50-1) and Longview Drive (99-1). I also took an exacta stab with Algorithms(13-1) over those 3. All wagers are just $2. It's more for fun and gossip if any or all continue on in good fashion.
I don't get serious until the first saturday in May.

I like Take Charge Indy if its "Borel off"! Of course the KY. Derby is his day...so its a nice flyer bet even if he stays on.
#4 Creative Cause and #10 Fed Biz look like nice long shot bets if you like the pedigree, Giant's Causeway.

This one sure didn't get much love in Future Pool #1; lots of reasons not to like him at 15-1...but worth a fiver at 50-1? Me thinks so.
