If this were a Repub it would lead every newscast for the next 3 days

A special prosecutor would be in the works

Paradoxically, it's both, to many Americans. Corruption, greed and an insatiable lust for power has become the norm among all politicians in D.C. for decades now. It should be a huge deal, but sadly it's not to many Americans.

“The promise of clean energy isn’t just an article of faith — not anymore,” Obama said at the time. “The future is here.”

The future was bankruptcy.

If green is going to work is not the free market going to have find a way to profit with it. Subsidizing green is just a band aid. Can Big Green take on Big Oil for a spot in the market.

Man, you have it all wrong. I was refering to the contents of the link, not that Ralph posted it. I've always enjoyed his postings here.

What are "green jobs" supposed to be anyway? If they are going to make solar panels, there is nothing special about that product, and it will be cheaper to make in China like anything else. Why in the world would something be cheaper to manufacture here just because it is "green"? Makes no sense. (There might be a "green market" here, but green jobs = American jobs? Don't think so.)

GT, when you are a democrat, the word "green" triggers a Manchurian candidate reflex in you - anything green is good, so you swallow it. Buy the premise, buy the bit.

We are dealing with people like the bimbo in Detroit who was having her car payment made by Barry - from his stash.

Scary how stupid many, many people are. The walk among us, they breed, they vote.

In addition to the trips to the WH, members of the regime also attended board room meetings of Solyndra as observers.

Quote:

Officials from the Department of Energy have for months been sitting in on board meetings as "observers" at Solyndra, getting an up-close view as the solar energy company careened towards bankruptcy after spending more than $500 million in federal loan money.

Word of the Energy Department's unusual arrangement came as federal agents on Thursday converged on the California headquarters of the failed solar company, focusing fresh attention on the first corporate beneficiary of President Obama's stimulus program to create new clean energy jobs

A business model where it cost $6 to make a panel they sold for $3? I can see why G-folk green lighted it. It's like the post office.
