More of his shared sacrifice.
More leading by example.
More bullshat from the pig and his bitch.

And he stepped off the Canadian bus yesterday and whined about foreign cars in the USA and said he wanted to see three words - Made in USA.
I guess this is a tad bit more embarrassing than getting Elvis's birthday wrong. What a DOPE!

If a secretary in the motor pool at the Department of Energy took home a pen for the weekend, the headline at Hot Air would be "Obama Crony Steals Government Property"
Obama did not buy a bus. The Secret Service bought the bus. Obama is not going to take the bus home with him when he leaves office in 2017. The bus will not just be used by Obama. It will be used by other dignitaries as well.
The Secret Service has not owned a bus previously, but they have leased buses on various occasions. Each time they have had to refit them for security and safety reasons. I am pretty sure that this will be cheaper.
Now, if you are complaining that the bus was purchased from a Canadian company, you may have a point. But do we know that an American company was capable of building a bus to the Secret Service's specification? Do we know that the job was not put out for bid? Are we certain that the Canadian company did not just come in with the lowest bid.
In any case someday a Republican President will someday be traveling in this bus. Or more likely its great, great, great, great. grandbus.

Mostie - the main point is the bus wasn't made in the USA.
( It would be hard to believe that the USA could put men on the moon (9 times) and not be able to build a bus to the Secret Service's specification. )

The story also said the buses were Prevost buses made in Canada, yet I found two or more stories that said they were made in Tenn. by Hemphill Bros.

That is not necessarily true. Do we make any TV's here? Of course we could. but we don't.
I have no proof of this, but I think the Secret Service ordered the buses from Hemphill in Tennessee. Hemphill ordered the Bus Shell from Prevost. Prevost advertises bus shells on their Website. Perhaps the engine was included. Perhaps the engine came from a different source. In any case, I think that Hemphill assembled the parts, out fitted the interior and did any painting or logo work that was necessary and delivered the buses to the Secret Service. This is a theory but I am comfortable with it.
