got a new HP notebook

Need help!
How do I stop the damn constant pop ups by Windows Live? I don't want it
I have a Google home page and use my cable company email address.
I've never seen anything this annoying?????
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me rid myself of this bother!

Update on my husband, John Shear, the paddock guy who was seriously injured saving a child's life at Santa Anita. He is going very well!
Is walking, using a cane for now until his right leg can bear full weight, but is getting better each day.
He will be back at Santa Anita in the fall and hopes to say hello to his many friends on PA who have been so kind and supportive.

Others may contradict this statement I am about to make...

Go to add/remove programs(control panel entry) and uninstall windows live. I found I had no use whatsoever for it.

Seems like a little too much money for an i3 with integrated video. Not terrible, but you should have opted for an i5 as a budget processor imo.

price is ok. You got plenty of memory and its ddr3 good there, you should think before you dump your old puter, specially if you upgraded the video with a card, may be able to install in new puter

I'm pretty sure that would have been another $150 or $200 but I could be wrong. I appreciate the opinion.

$540 for the specs on that system is a very fair price. Better Dell than HP.

If you feel the need for improved graphics you can always get a video card to pop in.

Thanks bigmack.

Just about all the reviews I read were favorable but you're right the graphics aren't highly rated.

Will that impact my ability to view something like Twin Spires TV?

Heavens no. Only real video game geeks would notice.

What you have is fine.
