mountaineer meet ends in fog

with the drop in purses this year there were a few highlights. DESHAWN PARKER had a tremendous year. he must have been hurt about 5 times and he wound up the leading rider nationally. that kid really has some tallent. he is an excellent judge of pace and knows where to put his horses and when to ask them for their best.

another bright light was LOU RUBERTO jr. he trains horses right off his family's farm in lisbon, ohio. he went 40% for the year training. his horses were no $100k horses at the auction either. every single horse improves after every start. they all come to the track in the best of shape possible.

congradulations to both men.
