Have a Projected or Actual GDP below 2%, which aint too bad.
But here we have BO projecting a 1.2% GDP, that's projecting, so who really knows how low can we go for 2011.?

2.8% is generally considered nominal.

Since 1951 we have had 36 quarters with a negative growth in GDP. Thirty two of those occurred under a Republican President; four under a Democratic President. How's that supply side economics working out for you?

Suggestion:
When you ask a question here, take the time to do some research. That way you won't be embarassed when someone answers it.

Well, just b/c you feel embarassed when some one shows you the correct answer does not mean every one else feels the same way. Don't project.

2008 had had a negative growth in GDP with only the second Q showing a very small gain that to a mild stumilus package. The fourth Q loss was off the charts.

My point was Skate was saying that the GDP was never as bad under Bush as it was for one particular quarter under Obama. Turns out he was wrong. THIRTEEN TIMES WRONG!!!!!
If it ever happens someone on this board shows me the correct answer, I will be sure to let you know how embarassed I feel.

Postmostes;
Take note ifin you will, since i refer to YEAR 2011 and not "Q"s.
Too much fluctuation in Q's and that is Not the Projection that Administration gave.
We could give you a weekly, or daily projection, but it might interfere with projected emulsions , then you'll become emulsified.

Fair enough, though it was not at all clear from your post that you were referring to annual projections.
The answer to your question as modified; four times in eight years.

Welp, thanks, but i did put the only time frame i had as 2011.
I have never seen any Neg. figures (Yearly) from the Bushey years, but hey , they may be hidden.
Easy to find, GDP fig for ElBushey. no neg for any year cept maybe 08 and 09, witch was under a dem. congress, im sure you know.
My biggest point to be made (some Day Soon) i've seen projections from this admin for 6% for each "Q", now they got wind of reality and they say 1.2% for 2011, that's them , not the-skate.

Just love it. I think it is a tie between you, andymay, and maybe cjs'dad as to who posts the greatest number of new anti Obama/Lib/Dem threads. Most which trump my occasional "Banality"
BTW, ask skate about his pet monikers for bush/cheney.
I only go as far as rutabaga.

The next 5% Obama hits will be his approval rating.
