Del Mar - Opening Day (Restaurant tables)

Hey all,

Looking for a little feedback/info. Got picked for the $125 restaurant table raffle for opening day. Four of us going on the trip. My questions to anybody familiar with these seats:

1) is it generally worth it?
2) is it a handicapping friendly area or more like a fine dining experience?
3) dress code any different from the rest of the track?
4) Will we need to hit the Pick 6 to pay the bill?

Any other feedback would be helpful, as we only have a couple days to decide, and none of us have been there before. Thanks!

No fancy dress code, bring hat and sunglasses as you will be in the sun 1st half of the day. You may need to hit a pick 3 to pay for the $20 meals, but the food and service are top notch.

However, the Hunter Steakhouse grill in the center of the infield is the best food in the place, IMO. Angus and Tri-tip, reasonably priced. Awesome. Bring it back to your table and save your $$$ for a big pick 6 ticket!

And the season pass for the entire meet is only $25 for 40 days (yes, only a $1.75 per day if you have no life); buy online a week before.

92 days, Cant wait.....I live for DM. 5 minutes away ... Best of luck on that Pick 6 Bro!!!!
