Watched the news tonight about the upcoming vote in the senate on HC. That bill is going to cost a minimum of $2 trillion by 2024.

A lot of people are about to get screwd.

I emailed my senators and told them if that bill passes they will not get my vote and I will make a concerted effort to get them out of office.

All of you should do the same. This bill is not the way to solve this problem.

email your senators, phone them mail them but do something.

Better yet - meet them outside the doors of chambers when the camera crew and print media is there and get their attention.

Letters, emails, and calls get logged in by staffers, divied up into issues, pro or con, and a form letter is sent "thanking you for your interest in (INSERT ISSUE HERE)..."

Once upon a time I was complicit in this sham of constituent correspondence and now you know why I am utterly and completely cynical about 'representation'.
