The British on-line betting giant Betfair will begin offering pari-mutuel betting on the races run at the New York Racing Association's Aqueduct racetrack beginning with the track's next live card on Wednesday as a result of an agreement recently struck between the two companies.

It is a brilliant strategy imo. They are building good relationships with race tracks, who need the cash, and who are already p'd off with existing ADW companies. The ultimate target is that racetracks lobby for exchange betting to be legalized in the US.
