Thumbs up Meadowlands 15% takeout

One of my favorite plays over the summer was the 50 cent Pick 5 at Monmouth Park. The takeout was a low 15% which made for nice payoffs even when favorites hit the board. I'm a little disappointed that the wager is not available at the Meadowlands but they do have a 15% Pick Four as well as 15% 10 cent supers. The difference from a 15% to a 30% takeout is huge.

I'm always looking for low priced exotics so pass along any that you are aware of.

HANA's track takeout chart is perfect for you (it is pretty accurate too). It is sortable as well. Just click on the type of bet and you can see the lowest takeout to highest in each betting category:

Takeout

I've become much selective about the tracks I play and their takeout. I hit the pick four at the Big M Saturday for $1,600 without a big priced horse. Thanks to the 15% takeout and a 10k c/o.

Keeneland has a 50 cent, 19% P4; tracks with options like that will get my money.
