2nd at Suffolk July 15

Interesting. We have a #7 horse, Shabacci that has a 9.4 Prime Power number advantage over the rest of the field. Normally, this results in a post-time odds of 1-5 (sometimes 2-5). However, there are some things about this filly that the whale programs may not give the green light. Be interesting to see what the heavy late money does with her. Opened very luke warm on the board. Of course, that doesn't mean she won't get hammered. 3-1 with 18 min to post.

My only concern is if they give me a number low enough to bet against. Sure not betting on at 2-5 or less.

Problem is the three I have that could beat her: 4,6,8 are all S-types and this filly could get loose. 5-2 with 5 min to go. opps bang 9-5

Didn't get loose but the zombie that had the top disintegrated, leaving her alone. Won by 6 at 3-5 with last minute action. Some of the whales sat this one out. Probably kicking themselves about now. How do we let one get away at a juicy price like $3.40?? We must be nuts!

I like how the odds dropped from 4/5 to 3/5 as she made the winning move at the quarter pole.

You and I must have a different definition of "juicy price"...

Of course we are talking about the Suffolk pools here...what is that, $20?

Was being facetious, talking about the chalk playing whales who follow their computer programs to pounce on standouts.

The issue is the timing, not the magnitude of the drop or how much might be required for it to happen.

Whales playing at Suffolk on 5k claimers?

The win pool there is about 25K, but maybe that's large enough.
