Fav Dick Francis Novel?

Nothing to do with handicapping (for the most part) but what is your favorite Dick Francis novel? I was also a fan of the episodes they did for British tv. My personal fav book....not sure I have one, like most of 'em!

I can't remember the name, but it is the one about a guy that has a betting system that works.

That would be "Twice Shy", one of the few stories that Francis didn't write in the first-person perspective.

"For Kicks" hands down. Story of a race fixer who conditions his thoroughbreds to fear for their lives when they hear a silent dog whistle that he blows when they're in the stretch. Not for PETA members.
