Getaway day at Saratoga but don't be too hasty. Lots of good racing on Labor Day. We had two close seconds on yesterday's card. Today's card looks tasty and we are so glad that most of the grass races have run in the last two weeks. Here goes:
RACE 1: Maiden claimers on the grass.
# 4 KAPTAIN drops from MSW. last out showed a tad of improved early speed. Has great turf breeding with Smart Strike and goes for the crafty Clement.
# 5 ALL THE WAY HOME you can never doubt the Duggan
# 6 OUTOFTHESLAMMER returns and drops from MSW. The Grand Slam sired colt should be ready for an improved effort.
# 7 D'WILDCARD is bred to like the weeds and could show a big turnaround here.
# 10 COUNTERSPY drops down for Allen Jerkens and will be in good shape for this race.
