VALUE OF A SHOW WAGER TO INCREASE AT HASTINGS RACECOURSE

Vancouver, B.C. (Aug. 13/08) -- Hastings Racecourse is pleased to announce a “show” wagering commission reduction, effective immediately.
The change is designed to increase the value of a show wager. Dropping the wagering take-out from 17% to 12% will make it the lowest rate in North America.
A show wager is inherently a high probability, low value play. This increase in value will benefit all horseplayers.
Hastings is also exploring similar initiatives that will benefit horse wagering enthusiasts.
