Said it would take at least an hour to fix it, maybe more especially if it rained again. However, if you owned a horse that was supposed to run, would you want him to run on a surface that was degraded so badly? It's unfortunate for those who were there (who hopefully didn't get beaten too badly by the hail that fell) but it's an outdoor sport, which makes it subject to the vagueries of the weather.
