Race 9 #8 Whippet Good. Hate betting horses coming from qua but any time a horse throws a 26.2 last quarter you have to pay attention. You rarely see such a last qtr in an actual race leave alone a qua.

Race 11 #7 Outright. Hit a brick wall in last at the 1/2 mile pole. If Waples rates the mile should get the job done this time.
Race 13 #2 Laurel Canyon. Best bet of the night. Was fully involved with the fast early pace.

Race 11 #7 Outright won and paid $15.80. Waples indeed rated the mile very well with a 56 half and a 124.3 three qtr and a 27.1 last qtr to knock out the competition.
Race 13 #2 Laurel Canyon was out.
