Does anyone remember when they saddled up the horses IN PUBLIC up there, with numbers placed on strategic trees, so people could (among other things) stand in some proximity to the great hosses of the day?
Now, of course, they have long since shut out what they deem to be The Great Unwashed, emblematic of racing's attitude toward its customers, never mind that a number of the owners -- yes, even the fancy folk up at the Spa -- are crooks and fraudsters, or their offspring?
