Shark attack - Solana Beach

Retired vet died this morning as a result of a shark attack off of Solana Beach, CA., just north of Del Mar. Link to the San Diego Union online article.

How peculiar right there off Solana, DJ. H20 temp is what, around 58?

I suspect swimming in a group like that in a wet suit Mr. Shark thought it was a grouping of seals.

Yep, he was the lagging swimmer, all in full wet suits.

I told a co worker today about it and he semi-freaked -- 'I surf there all the time!'
