Fabulous Moolah Passes
Here's a blast from the past.
Who's next, Bruno? (assuming he's still around)

Moolah was active in the ring in recent months - at that age, she still took bumps! Amazing. She got "suplexed" off the top rope by a 300+ pounder in the last year!
Don't give up hope, TFM....Mae Young is still around!

An interview with Fabulous Moolah from '05 was broadcast on NPR (Nancy Pelosi Radio) this afternoon. They would probably have it archived on their site.

Moolah was one tough broad, and I say that as a compliment. Always gave the fans their money's worth, and din't take any crap from anyone out of the ring either. RIP

Yeah she was very tough and if I remember correct she held the belt for close to 30 years.

No matter
No matter the sport, holding a title that long means being tough enough to stay well, healthy, and take the rigors of travel.
