From Arc victor on sunday to defendant in a race fixing trial on monday
Here is the SUN headline and article w/ pix of one race where he allegedly threw out the anchor in deep stretch. Wow, what a photo sequence, Wonder if this goes into evidence ?

Interesting pics. Fallons' biggest problem is that betfair notified racing authorities BEFORE the race of the massive amount of money bet to lose on KF's mount. Like most criminals, not too bright. Will need a california jury to survive this inquiry.

If you had seen this race, the way he kept looking back almost making sure to time it just right, you would have some serious questions as well.
The major bettor in this action, also taken into custody, made most of his money "laying" bets (betting big favorites would lose), so it goes right along with his questionable riding maneuvers. A fellow named Miles Rodgers wagered 2.12 million pounds this way.

"The object of the conspiracy was to wager large amounts of money on a particular horse to lose in each of those races while knowing that the jockey was prepared, if necessary, to cheat by stopping the horse," prosecutor Jonathan Caplan said.
Fallon rode in 17 of those races, winning five.

I remember reading that this horse was 10-1 on betfair, but chalk on track. That never happens and is an immediate red flag.
The most interesting part of this, and I wish I had seen the race and followed the betting, is that "in running" betting is pretty huge there. A chalk, with a 6 length lead or so would probably have punters lining up to bet him at 1.10 at Betfair at that point. There could have been easily 100K there for a person who knows the horse is going to lose to book. If you put up $25000 to book at 1.25 there is no doubt you would have been immediately filled.
