Saratoga Sunday (8/11)

Only 1/2 hr until R1.
Looked at the first 3, and, so far the only thing I see is in R2, Thermopylae looks to have a pace advantage (like that PA?) over this bunch. At 5-1 (we'll never get that) I'll go there.

RRbauer & R#2 SARATOGA

RR.. If #2, Thermopylae WINS I will treat you to Dinner4Two...
at the Arby's of your choice. Pace Advantage or NOT .... I think
he has a Near Zero Chance of Winning this race. Although I'm
not playing this race, I would guess the Winner is among the
#1,2,4 .... hehe

Thermopylae never made the lead until coming off the turn.

Problem for me was that he was softened up enough that he couldn't hold 2nd after the bet-down Joshua's Jet rolled by, so my $40 place bet hit the toilet. That play was prompted by 40% of the place pool being on the #1 that had a perfect tracking trip last time from a cozy post, couldn't get the job done and lugged out in the lane. The inside draw and extra distance couldn't help him....and didn't.

Didn't beat the 6 or 5, but I did beat the 1, 2 and 4! Your money's safe D2U!

9th Race

My personal betting line for the race:

6 Orientate 3-1
3 Texas Glitter 5-1
8 Echo Eddie 6-1

I will bet at or above those odds.

Side note: #7 Say Florida Sandy has recorded 37 100+ Beyer Speed Figures, that is just sick!

SAR race#9

This race stinks .... Orientate @ 6:5; 2 speed horses were scratched. Whether O wins or not 1 thing is for sure: his
workouts are crap, not like a speedster at all. Maybe #2,
Multiple Choice will close against #6. My complaint is only
that the race isn't competitive enough.
