Picks for Aqueduct Sunday:
R1 #6 Whoa-Dives to all time low and stretches out again. Only other route attempt on dirt was on off going vs tougher. Will get an uncontested lead in here.
R2 #4 Risky Agenda-No surprise that she didn’t fire first time out in the sprint, as she is bred up and down to route. Gets lasix and more distance, so a forward move is expected here.
R3 #3 Miz Yah Beaux-Didn’t run too badly after she moved up to challenge into a 3 way duel for the lead last out. The pace fig was decent in that heat and another forward move will put her in contention here.
R4 # 2 He’s Up to Snuff-Takes the plunge into mcl ranks. Couldn’t find a much weaker field, he’ll be my P4 single.
R5 #1 Hey Tough Guy-Barn actually does ok with route/sprint types. Had a fast short drill last week so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him closer today.
R6 #5 Market Turbulence-His only sprint effort is a good one. Should be on the lead or near it against this group. Barn has been having a good meet.
R7 #3 Zippy Shannon-Can’t find anyone that can step with her early, so she’ll probably complete the hat trick here.
R8 #2 Sweet Sweet-Had her win streak broken when she came up short off the layoff. She has back figs that would handle this field, and the regular drills since her return means she will probably contend here.
R9 #2 Sea Lawyer-Should open up early on this field from the rail. Gets a positive jock switch for this. Doubt that you’ll see more than 4/1 here though.
