Don't understand Mining Plan at 5/2 but will bet against it all day.
Grade Nine (3) and Babbler (4) only need to run back to good HOL races to win.
Darlin Barbie (1) and My Alternate (6) are backups with a small chance.

If Astra wins I might break even! If not, we're going for some gold!

Irish Muldoon is perfectly placed. Gets off the rail and has the speed to track this bunch and the power to take over in the run for home.

Wilshewed's last two workouts were fine, fine! Her best ever.
And, speaking of workouts, Kelli's Ransom, has been a virtual bomb in the morning and is bred to just love it here.

Wilshewed (R9-#7) broke thru the gate waiting for the start and Gomez got his bell rung. Wilshewed was scratched. So that left me with two tickets on #9 Kelli's Ransom (post-time fav) who was wide after moving up early and done at the turn.

Annoying....but, I'm glad that Astra didn't get beat because I would've hated to have been looking at a nice payoff and had my best horse scratched. $48 lighter!
