With the rail out 15 feet I'd like to see a solid frontrunner in here to take them all the way. No such luck.
The lead looks like #6 ROMAN JAKE who did OK in his turf debut and has worked nicely since, but he doesn't come home like one that will enjoy routing.
The other sprinter stretching out, #9 CHARMVICTOR won his debut on the turf like a good thing, and he gets some trainer angles in his favor, and Nakatani stays on. He has worked back nicely also. He's my pick.
Don't dismiss #2 CHARBONNIER, who has a nice forward moving line, has worked back nicely for Harty, and should get a perfect trip...at a price.
That leaves the three that Mr. ML Maker likes, looking for consolation awards. Could be wrong tossing Ken W's pick but I'll take my chances.
