E-mail for what it's worth
This morning, I received an email forwarded to me by a friend who served in Iraq. The writer is an Iraqi translator, who spent time in Abu Ghraib under Saddam Hussein. He told my friend:
If I were allowed to vote I dare say I would vote for Mr. Kerry for a very simple reason which is, being an Iraqi citizen, I see, I live, I feel, I am in THE AMERICAN MESS here in Iraq. America, because of its wrong policies in Iraq as in other places around the world, is losing its sincerity, honesty, and its powerful vision not only in our eyes but in the eyes of others, this I am sure of.
