No inside info, but I like him - he's my closer.

My BRIS program shows the Illinois derby time was 1:47:04, but I've read it was 1:47:98 elsewhere.

Not sure...

There are no bums in this race.
We've got 6 closers and any of them have a shot to hit the board with the right trip.

I really love this guy to get up and get a piece as I think that he could be more forwardly placed if necessary. I really believe that he has a chance to get up and get a spot underneath. Maybe 4th, but, man I would love for him to come in 2nd or 3rd.. He ran the 2nd fastest Ill. Derby in the past 59 years. I don't believe that it was a fluke and he has had decent spacing between his last race and this one.

Good Luck today!

that's pretty much spot on.

it's pretty hard to only use 1 of them. if you use any at all imo.

for what it's worth this is my old mans long shot pick he likes w/ the fav's.

i can't use him seriously if i'm not using the other closers as well

I don't like Gunnevara despite having sung his praises in the Derby.

Wasn't Elocutionist in 1976 the last time one of these closers who didn't win the Derby then turned around and won the Preakness?

if AD runs away and hides by 10L you have to think CE and CMM chances will be jeopardized. if that happens the chances of a closer itm increases

you really are coming across as an idiot by posting trivial nonsense,do some research 1st before you post false facts as if they are true.AS far as closers winning the preakness after losing the derby exaggerator, point given, and summer squall and hansel have done it.
