ex-St. Louis Browns pitcher, Ned Garver, RIP

A very nice and well-written obituary on Ned Garver, last pitcher to win 20 games for a team that lost 100 games in the same season.

RIP

Last American League pitcher to do it. Steve Carlton won 27 games for a Phillies team that lost over 100 in the early 70s.
