Trying to get my brain to wake up here.
Gonna go with a conservative, small bet in race 3 @ Belmont.
Indian Brut looks very tactical. Last out, he showed a nice response to move up from a deep stalking position behind a slow pace. Unfortunately that positioned him next to the leaders who had been rating and he had to dual Unbridled Juan for a little bit and eventually hit the wire 3rd. -Should add that he gets JV today, and I don't really like that for the betting odds, but he may put together a great ride and give the horse a winning chance. I'd rather have him here @ 3-1 than at 3-5 trying to 'pull off' a great ride.... Several in here with unknown 'potential'... I'm gonna microwave a cup of this coffee, and put a few bucks to show on him, and see if that wakes me up for today's racing.

Any thoughts on why the 4 is favored over the 7 at KYD in the 3rd?

Not sure. Sar/Ward and Fallon-off , but that's a low price to take on anything @ kyd. Some random results there at times.

My ky downs philosophy is to add 2 furlongs to each race and them see who I would pick. For example, to win a 6f race at this place, I ask my runner to be a good miler. You need stamina at this place and the ability to relax and/or come from behind.

That makes sense. In some ways it's similar to Woodbine turf. Get close without spending all your horse, and then a long drive to the wire...
