Social Inclusion transferred to Guerrero barn

Connections felt he wasn't doing well at Saratoga and they opted for JCG at Parx. Seems like a decent move, hopefully Guerrero can get him to where he can win again. He started off well with a bullet workout yesterday.

Wasn't this the same horse that was being sold for something like 6 million? What happened to him? I can remember when he was supposed to be this big threat to California Chrome in the Preakness but that kinda fizzled.

It seems as if the connections didn't need the money they wanted a KD contender. Getting hurt in last years Haskell de-railed any hopes of this horse competing against the other 3 yo's maybe this trainer can get into this horses head you never know!

It amazes me that a horse runs like crap for one trainer then with a trainer change the horse performs like there is no tomorrow. Same thing with jockeys.

SI is one of the most overrated horses of his generation.. His best days belong to his past and the only hope for him to win again, is to drop in class facing much softer competition..

So much hope turned into so much nothing. Everyone was pulling out their checkbooks to get this horse following his allowance win where he wired the field over Honor Code. Now people don't even care anymore about this once "Spectacular" starter. The Haskell kinda sealed my opinion of him but hey everyone has a bad day.

He injured a tendon was pretty close to being retired. Connections gave him to Brown he didn't like the Saratoga training track. He was scheduled to race in late August at the Spa but he will now race at Parx in September.

He has a decent resume. He now needs to win a few races, and yes they need to be lower level allowance races and then see if he can work his way up the ladder again.

I agree completely. We must remember the surface this track record performance was on one of the most biased surfaces in the US. There's a long list of horses that just run well over one racing surface (GP) then fail on other circuits, especially those trained by Pletcher.

He was a nice animal with good speed, and had a tactical advantage in the allowance race vs. Honor Code, so I bet Social Inclusion that day to win.

Then he comes back in the Wood Memorial, and the public seemed so STUPID! They bet this horse to like an 8/5 favorite in the Wood Memorial, and I was betting against him, and then Social Inclusion ran a much-the-best 3rd in the Wood Memorial. I was completely surprised at that point.
Where did that huge effort in the Wood come from?
This was a real horse.

Used him in the Preakness, although Bayern was the best horse in the Preakness and was thus my primary A horse on top. (This was the race where Bayern had trouble, California Chrome won the 2nd jewel of the triple crown races).

Then they crazily entered Social Inclusion in the Woody Stephens. There was a misconception that he had trouble with route distance. The public went bananas and bet him down, and Bayern was a dream price.

Then they ran him in the Haskell (Bayern and Untappable dominating the entries) and he got hurt.

Went to Chad Brown, got healthy and beautiful, entered in an allowance race against a Jorge Navarro horse that was just simply faster (and nearly 8-1!) ran fine.

Entered in another allowance race vs. better 6/6/15 and was once again a huge underlay. Ran somewhat flat.

august/2015 Moved to Guerrero barn.

Here's the original article of not selling for 8m because they wanted to be 'loyal' to original trainer.
