Dumping Flash

Has anyone done this on their laptop? My IPad seems to work fine without it and I was thinking of doing an uninstall on my windows laptop along with disabling the Chrome extension.

I know it can be reinstalled easily if I run into issues. I don't play any games on the laptop so assume any consequences would be minor. Anyone here done this already? Thumbs up or down afterwards?

I disabled it in chrome on my desktop.
Performance if 200% improved.

I can't watch videos on this site, but I can go to YouTube and watch.
I would not turn it back on for any reason.

my solution was to set up flash as a "enable only this website mode". so it is turned off unless i give temporary permission, while i use it for the website i am on, at the time at the time it is enabled.

Took it off and disabled the extension. No problems so far. I don't notice that things run any faster but hopefully battery life improves. If nothing else, I'm done with the updates.
