Alex Rocco

http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/19/entert...eat/index.html

Actor Alex Rocco, perhaps best remembered for his portrayal of casino owner Moe Greene (who was in turn based on real-life mobster Bugsy Siegel, who opened the Flamingo in Las Vegas) in The Godfather, has died at the age of 79.

The bullet through the lens of a pair eye glasses is one of the best visual effects in a movie ever.

Plus, it was loosely based on what really happened to Bugsy Siegel (although Bugsy was sitting on a couch at the time (rather than getting a massage), and was shot in the back of the head by a bullet that was fired through the window, with the bullet exiting through his eye.

He played crime boss Jimmy Capp in Get Shorty, in his one scene they had him on a massage table in more or less the same position as his famous scene in The GF. Kind of an homage.

How about this scene in The Godfather in the hotel room, Moe Green, Freddo, and Michael Corleone.
