Pretty much every year at the Main Event, they end up with more chips than they started with. It doesn't seem to matter what they do.

Some years are worse than others. Google the 2006 ME. Harrah's obviously tries to keep this type of stuff quiet.

I'm more confused than ever.

The allegation is extra chips showing up in the main event on more than one occasion.

That was a headline at a non-wsop event on the east coast last year but I've never heard of it at any wsop event, much less the main event. I think it would get mainstream, non-poker media attention if true.

Not sure what you are thinking of.
