Belmont Insider

I bashed the loss of the NY replays but now admit I am enjoying the
commentary between all of the commentators.

Of special note was the Mig's comment yesterday regarding drifting in mid
stretch in an effort to win races, and ,in tandem, a poke at the
stewards blinking on this situation.

Transparency is quite refreshing and needed in this game.

I think most of the show is worthless.
The replays on a real TV were a huge asset.
What they have now is an infomercial at best.

The segment on twitter - what a waste of air time.
The banter seemed to be forced and at best generally uninformative.

They keep using up a third of the screen rolling the entries - just like the Pocket Fisherman used to do. what glimpses of replays they show are not circled to focus on what they talk about - like the REAL acing show, the replay show always did.

I watched again last week to see if it had improved - it is worse.
I had not watched for a few weeks.
I will not bother again.
