Everyone has a different betting style and bankroll...but unless you are betting PK3/4/5, you have to see the odds before making that determination. I very rarely wager to win, as I like to wager tri/supers. These selections are to help people pick winners...if you want a more detailed analysis of the race, you need to PM me and request a goldsheet.
Here is an example, which happens to be tonight's 1st race...
Race 1 M/L my odds my rating
1---------4------10----------25
2---------8 ------8-----------37
3---------2 -----5/2---------62----Moves up after 2 dominating wins. If she avoids a speed dual early, she should run win streak to 3
4--------12 -----9/2---------41----Has raced well at big odds often. Majeski driving is the concern, but longshot worth including.
5-------7/2 ------3----------47----Easy win, from rail, on lead. Moves up. If she can secure the pocket, she win be "right there" late
6--------6--------4-----------44-----Has raced solid from all post draws. While not likely a win threat, one to include on the bottom
7-------20-------12----------34
8-------10-------6 -----------39------Has raced well from lead/pocket. P8 will require a different trip, but at 10-1 I will put on tri.
9-------15------15-----------30
selection- 3 5 6-------------------------Trifecta: 3 with 5 6 with 4 5 6 8
(however, I will not be home until about 7EST, my next goldsheet will be Wednesday)
I normally wager the tri/super...with my "top 2" on top of the ticket...and the size of the spread, behind them, is determined by the odds.
