You just knew Leparoux was due for a tough ride on Forever Together, especially in these 1-turn races. You just can't win all the time with that running style.

I agree on the bad racing today. Belmont has been pretty poor most days with lots of short fields. Add in the rain, and it's been tough.

Not as bad as Frankel's horse, dead last. And I had him. Durkin called him in contention in deep stretch and called him third under the wire when he was just about pulled up last.

well, if anybody knew (beforehand) what was going to happen that wouldn't be so much fun then would it? I'll take the value horse?

No.

I'll take the winner since that should be of some value, right?

Nobody knows what's going to happen and ALSO, nobody knows who the so called "value" horse is.

Perfect. The multitude of variables involved and applicable to this game are it's greatest strength.

MNslappy
06-06-2009, 04:52 PM
well I certainly didnt have that one....

I can't imagine CM stays at 5-1 the way the track is playing

You "could have" if you gave the Sunland race credit. I didn't so I lost.

It's necessary to go "out of bounds" to win-- obviously. Value horse THIS!

The value comes from the inner mind.

beer and guessing, and I might add agreeing with anything printed or posted here other than by me will get you trashed. Listen to what I have to say as PA has and then maybe we can talk. I'm not really trying to prove myself a genius although maybe I am . . .

Any questions?

Didn't think so.

Ok, PA has very generously allowed me to continue to speak to his credit. So what? I'll tell you what so what. There are allot of variables involved in horseracing and that's a plus in a way. If you can see them before they happen.

I was in the other room waiting to hear it go off and never did..

Thanks Q! I'm back from the dead on that one.
