I'd call it "preaching to the choir".

Racing is such an easy target for negative diatribe today that it's open to anyone/everyone with an opinion. The fact that there's a problem has been well established. NOBODY has a solution. NOBODY! And, if that's the true state of the beast then it doesn't matter. More time is needed. More downside needs to be experienced. More pain. Realization that the old tricks have no more old dogs. Recognition that the product has no ability to draw new audiences.

Want my business? Earn it! That's something that racing has no clue about. Think that the game is not about the gamblers? Run us off and find out. Racing had better get tons of new slot revenue; or, tons of new betting customers ( :lol: ) right now; or, we can come back in 5 years: Nothing will have changed.

More of the same thing we've been hearing for years. Everybody knows the problem except the people who run the industry. It isn't going to get fixed until it's too late to save it.
