Thank God I decided to back up my other bets by keying him over the 5,6 in a $5 exacta and $1 tri. Would have had the super as well, but the #15 screwed me.
He is a special horse.
I was wavering between 5-7-11 and 5-6-7.
Guess which way I went!

Only one horse in recent times with consecutive triple digit beyers has failed to make it into the super.
That's probably still a pretty strong angle.

Pat Day Mile times, almost parallels the Derby.
But it was a 1 turn mile.

Storm Cat curse as well.
Very impressive performance. I was one of the doubters but still bet it given the expected pace scenario. I landed a $15 exacta box.

But it was a 1 turn mile.
That's why I posted it, it supposed to be much faster at the mile.
There were 2 hrs difference tho' and more rain poured by Derby time.

I did exactly the same thing. Only used the 6 in the contest, and by that point it was a lost cause anyway.
