Pretty tough to hit the board, when the horses run to their odds. The first two rides, he put the horses into the race, the third, the horse simply didn't want to compete. Not even Russell Blaze could bring some of those mules home.

It is a tough circuit to break into...he has to get in line behind anne s. and r. bowen...wish him luck though.

Correction: I guess anne has been riding there for many years in northern cal and rocco has been getting mounts there now for a few years...both great riders to follow...but it is still a real tough circuit to get enough mounts to make a living...and expensive area to find housing which I'm sure Tom will find out soon....hope he stays and it is encouraging to see him hooking up with good trainers...Best of luck to all of them.
