Yesterday I released a new product available in our store, Chaos Race: When Handicapping Will Fail.

Also, we are now offering what are called, "Dave's Special Offers." The purpose of a DSO is to allow people to purchase products at huge savings.

The way it works is that the price is cut substantially to begin with, but with each order or two the price goes up a few pennies.

Since we want to encourage people to join our email list, we release it to them first. The product below began at just $10.77 yesterday at this time. Still a great deal to be had.

Complete product description can be found at the link.

With the holiday season just kicking off, there will be more great deals to be had so make sure you join our email list (http://thehorsehandicappingauthority.ontraport.net/f/1/10842/3/0e24cd7350ec4eeaf3b7ebe7aa4c8026) to get first dibs at the great prices.

i used to follow a real good sheet reader in the 80's and 90's. he handicapped every race and we played house quinella's. when he had a race that was a chaos race we unloaded anywhere we could get down. we took huge spreads and hit about half the races we played. and we often hit limit quinella's.

bottom line, sign me up for this one, its worth my time to watch. and have a happy thanksgiving.

(i couldn't spot a chaos race to save my life on my own)

Dave, that's an odd marketing approach on the pricing.

Less than an hour after you started this thread, the price has more than doubled.

I'm guessing I won't be the only one who finds that a bit unsettling, not that $34.77 isn't a bargain.

You're turning into Amazon.

You did not click the link I put up. You went to the store and found the item without the sale. Click here instead. (http://store.pacemakestherace.com/the-chaos-races-dso-when-handicapping-will-fail/)

The price is currently up to $17.30.

PS: The idea is to reward people who purchase early.

My bad. If there's a harder or more expensive way to do something, that's the path I usually find...

Purchased for $17.58. That'll teach me.

Thanks, ParkView.

I saw someone else do this on the web and I thought, "This looks like fun."

Besides, it really rewards the loyal customers with the best possible pricing.

(Although it flies directly in the face of typical marketing techniques. There is a technique known as "skimming" where you get the highest possible price first and then drop the price later. That is a more profitable strategy but actually makes the more loyal customers pay the most instead of the least.)

We will be doing more of these during the holiday season.

Dave

The sale was turned off last night but somehow the link was still alive this morning.

Kudos to the person who clicked the link after the sale ended and got the last sale at the last price. Persistence pays off!
