C C Brown seems to be interchanging mounts for J Castellano, and I Ortiz Jr lately!!!

Since July 29th these 3 have teamed up to hit the board in 9 out of their last 10 attempts!!!

The way it's going it looks like I Ortiz Jr is next probably on the Turf provided it stops raining in New York!!!

I will be watching out for this triumvirate for the month of August at the Spa!!!

The trio hit the board in 8 out of their last 9 attempts with C C Brown.

J R Velazquez had a winner sandwiched in between Ortiz and Castellano.

Oracle, I can't resist pal. Let me preface my statement by saying I love ya!

What's next? Are you going to tout us on T Pletcher 2YO First Time Starters at the SPA? How about ones with J Velazquez aboard?

Sooooo...., you're trying to tell me you aren't putting your bankroll at risk while betting on 10 races over 3 days taking 6/5 shots (at best) and returning 31% on those winners? :p

Yes, these numbers show a $3,100 profit if you are wagering $1K to W on each entry. Then again, you'd have lost $1,200 if the Maiden Rays the Bar doesn't roll home. In fact, you lose money if any horse other than Flintshire doesn't get the job done in the 5 out of 10 winners.

That is tough cranking when you have to hit 50% of your W bets to make a profit.:faint:

What do you do when C Brown has I Ortiz one 1 horse and J Castellano on another in the same race and they are 4/5 and 3/1 in the same race ? :D

Hey EMD,

If I could track I would Hahahaha lol !!!

But I just thought it interesting to see these 2 guys tag team on his horses like that and actually have some wins to show for it I just couldn't resist bro!!!

Anyhow it's one of the few things with C C Brown where you could squeeze out some type of profit!!

Also it seems as though since he started to flip / flop with these 2 he began having more success 5 wins since July 29th and 6 since July 27th!!

Let's see where it goes looks like I Ortiz is up next!!!

Since this post C C Brown continues to flip/flop with Javy and Irad at Saratoga but the returns are much smaller than they were back in July!!!

http://www.insidethenumbers.net/images/comments/cbrownjavyiradsar.jpg

Even when you back out the cost of J Rosario at $2 for the win and $6 for the win, place and show you still need to hit 50% of the win bets just to squeeze out a profit as Lemon mentioned!!!

I will continue to watch these 3 for the rest of the season at the Spa!!!

Since this post C C Brown seems to have abandoned the Javy and Irad flip/flop and has started leaning more toward Javy

http://www.insidethenumbers.net/images/comments/ccbrownaugsixsar.png

However it hasn't resulted in any profits you almost break even on the $2 win bet!!!

http://www.insidethenumbers.net/images/comments/ccbrownjavysaraug.jpg

He used Javy in 14 of the 27 starts since August 6th but that also didn't yield any profits!!!

Let's see if he goes back to Irad who gave him 3 wins during this stretch!!!

Pretty low roi....even with the wins...do you think a better strategy would be to bet against Brown regardless?

TheOracle

Hey Vig,

You are probably correct in going against him although he seems to be having more success with Irad

http://www.insidethenumbers.net/images/comments/ccbrowniradaugsar.jpg

However, even with Irad the profits are pretty low with just a 20% return for the win per $2 wager and a 7% return across the board per $2 to win, place and show!!!

So maybe bet against him except when he's with Irad!!!
