Anyone using Excel for data mining? Specifically, the data mining add-in. Any comments on your experience (good, bad, or indifferent)?

It depends on how deep are you mining? Pivot tables,yes. Real data mining with multi-dimensional cubes, no. I used to build data warehouses using HOLOS.

Nice graphics. Does anything make that combination better than Weka?

have no exp with weka apart from going through the book (Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques)

I have been looking at the setup Katherine Jung and crew use for their gig at Sha Tin. VERY impressive. Free sample app available.

I should have added that the free sample version imports directly from Excel (as well as CSV files). It looks like an impressive piece of work that may be of value to those using Excel. I am still curious how the Microsoft data mining add-in would compare.
