What hand costs you the most $?

For me it's AQ.

I apparently just don't know what to do with it when the flop misses. For that matter, hitting the A is not as profitable as I thought.

On line it's fairly easy to track your own play and this hand, which I think should be significantly positive long run, is just under water for me over 12 years.

I'm profitable AJ. I'm (barely) profitable KQ.

Those are both hands I'm more likely to fold preflop to a raise so I think I know the hole but it's not like my record has gotten better with this knowledge.

BTW: These are NLHE cash games only. I haven't figured out how to do this level of analysis on tournaments and seem to do better with this hand in limit.

Some people say AQ...or JJ. Others say top pair-top kicker.

There is danger everywhere in the NL cash games. It all depends on the situation.

What's your hand of death?
One time I was playing at the casino and a players were discussing this hand. One guy said that hand is called Parking Lot, I guess, you get AQ and you get in trouble and go home, no cashing out.:p

In a hand with 3 or more players that does not end quickly, AA is deadly to the holder of those cards more times than I care to remember. I think too many people tilt when they see aces in the hole and expect them to win the day, but like everything else, you have to play the table and not the cards.

AK unsuited. Too good to chuck before the flop. Give me A7 suited every time. I get away from that hand. Cowboys are another bad hand.
