For the record, the bulk of the handicapping algorithm is Doug's, and the bulk of the code is Handiman's. There were certain things that Doug couldn't code in Visual Basic, and there were certain things that were giving Handiman problems in Liberty Basic. I stepped in and helped with a few things so that we could have a working program. I think Doug explained the handicapping logic in an old Handifast thread. It might be useful to look at some of those posts in preparation for examining the source code.
A word of warning -- the LB code is not very elegant and will be hard to follow. There are online doc files at libertybasic.com if you need help understanding the commands/syntax. You would have to contact Doug to get the VB source code if that is your language of choice.
I have (had) intentions of developing HHX more but what free time I have doesn't include the agony of writing code.
Hopefully I can get started on that some time in the near future.
