He can only ride at Kee. I used to really look at his horses, but he just rides so poorly outside of KY.

Its something a lot deeper than just riding outside his "comfort zone". He's either riding injured or he has something in his head that he can't get rid of, hopefully he can back strong at some point. He ought to just say he's hurt and take some time off and do some soul searching, he's only hurting his brand and business and if he keeps riding like he rode the horse in the last race today at the Spa, he's going to never be able to get back to his former self, or even a shell of it.

I think he's about average, although below-average when talking relative to a top riding colony's top-5. He has some good stakes rides to his credit, along with many mediocre and poor rides.
He was kind of a 'trendy', 'hot' rider early on and that hurts him now in the esteem of fans and players, although it helped his bank account early and gave him every chance.

1 for 73 at Toga says it all. I know his win was early so its been a while.
Here's the kicker $427K in purse earnings.
He'll probably still clear $20-30K in income on the meet.

Amazing that a 'participant' in the game can do a poor job and haul 20/30k out of the industry while a customer/bettor has to perform spectacularly to show ANY profit for the meet.

I don't have to worry about dying while betting, at least due to the betting part.

The math doesn't work, if leparoux retired tomorrow, nobody else in the game would lose 1 cent of income. If a big bettor (or any bettor for that matter) stopped betting, lots of people lose income yet the lesser important and easily replacable person is the one making all the cash, and they're making a ton of cash even if they do a shitty job. As George carlin might say "something's F***ed up"

Are you trying to be cool attacking one of the driving/attracting forces of PA?
Only one I see trying to hump something or someone around here is you with that snide remark.
Got nothing contributory to say, please stay quiet.

You could say the same thing to Stillriledup, and it would be way more accurate.
