How Does A Free Play Work?

I just got a $25.00 'Free Play' offer in my email today from a racebook i've bet with in the past. I've seen that kind of thing offered in some ADWS too. Pardon my ignorance, but I have no idea how that kind of offer works. Can someone explain it for me? For example, are you limited to just one bet of $25.00 in this instance on some horse race? (or casino, if the racebook is a branch of a online casino site)? If that's the case, are you allowed just one bet, win or lose?...If so, what happens to your 'Free Play" money if you win? Can you add the profit and the original stake to your horse betting account, or withdraw all the profit and the original stake?

Thanks for any help you can give to enlighten me on this subject.

Why don't you just call or email the place that sent you the offer and ask them of the details...that would be your best bet...

Well, I originally closed this thread, and here was my reasoning:

Quote:
"Free Plays" come with all sorts of different restrictions, and any advice given and/or received is bound to be different depending on the site that is giving out the "Free Play."

Thus my very rational advice was to contact the website that gave you the free play and ask them exactly how it will work.

I'm sorry you took offense to me closing that thread, but it was nothing personal. I would have done the same thing no matter who authored that thread.

In the spirit of the holidays, I'll reopen the thread and we'll see where it goes...perhaps I am wrong...wouldn't be the first time, and won't be the last.

T2W my friend and good man, I had similar thoughts as PA regarding the suggeston, though suprised thread closed.

You didn't mention the company who is making the Free Play offer, so don't know that that company means by Free Plays. I was just on YouBet, they call their own PPS Free Plays, free if you play the track. I know that isn't what you're looking for.

Some call Free Plays their selections. Others, with an ADW, might have free betting money with a sign up, and it is up to them to set the rules.

Really have no helpful info for you other than this was just too wide open a question for a helpful result. I get burned out with reading and responding too often, in chat rooms, too many youtube videos, heck, I found I had to change my browser home page to Blank from Yahoo home page and Fox News (pick any online news you want) just was being blitzed with too much stuff that attacted or distraced me and help be become seriously unproductive and head-weary. It helped me quite a bit, not looking at so much, and having quite as much on my mind. Take it easy, and spend time when you have the time.
