There's a very special spot reserved for one Edward Moore Kennedy, and it's likely far removed from where Mary Jo ended up, so I doubt she'll ever get to confront the man who left her to die...but you never know....

Good that he could leave us with something still to pray for.

Tough crowd...I wasn't a big fan either because of his well-publicized problems, but it couldn't have been easy to go through life seeing all three of his brothers killed while relatively young. From what I read, his widow helped straighten him out for the last 15 years or so.

He rationed HER health care. The first death panel.
Hell has a new resident.
And the new number in the senate is 59, not 60.

With all due respect to my fellow righties, IMHO:
Mr. Kennedy served his country for his entire life. There were certainly some bumps in the road, including some moral issues that will never be forgotten. Nevertheless, he was a dedicated public servant - whom I rarely agreed with.
In my opinion, he deserves similar respect to that which ANY President deserves upon his death.
Just my opinion.
Regards,
Dave Schwartz

Never liked the man , however , his ultimate fate is in the hands of the higher order . It is not our right to judge that .

I became much more sympathetic to him after watching a history channel bio a couple fo years ago. The pressure of being the only surviving male in that family caused a lot of his problems, and while I disagreed with him on a lot, he seemed to have overcome his demons over the last decade or so. I know a lot of folks looked up to him and are mourning him today.

Oh, yes...He served. First and foremost, he served his own interests.
