HANDIFAST BETA 2

The 2nd release is ready and easier than ever.

I have tested Handi's program, Corrected by (headhawg) Thanks !

I heard from HANDI and his updates are included.

I finally made the LEGEND and some instructions.
and Put the Scratch Thingy back in but lost the adjusting of points (I found it to produce nothing more than what was already there)

58.8 Megs

It will be worth the wait, it is a full INSTALL package with all
Supporting files to make sure it runs correctly.

My algorithm has changed completely to the one handi used, so the two programs Will produce differing results, but used together I feel they are unbeatable.

For those who asked how to go about getting the software

Have an active internet connection.

Download HANDIFAST_CHROMED.exe
at http://localpcpros.com/HANDIFAST_CHROMED.exe

Run the installer.

Allow anything your firewall blocks.
Answer YES, I agree, and Next. Leave everything set as is.

If prompted to restart the computer "DO NOT do so"

If prompted to repair or overwrite files, DO SO!

Read the README FILE!
And the Instructions included inside each program.

Close all Windows, Browser windows, and programs opened during install.

Find the shortcuts on the desktop and in the all programs menu.

It will not finish uploading until around 1:30am EST about 20 more min.
So please wait a bit....I am going to bed!

Enjoy, Doug.

Doug,

Hamdifast does not run under wine using Arch Linux. Are there any dependencies I also need?

Yes, it should remove them, it will not change the calcuation. (in my part of the program) I tak it your doing it, not HANDI ?

If it is not working something is in wrong see the instruction button.

To make it as simple as I can to explain that mess.

All horses have to be in CAPS.
All on a seperate line.
no commas, etc. Just one horse per line, capitalized.

AFter copy and pasting the scratch file into the notepad that opens you need to EDIT it a ton then close and save.

It is cosmetic though since non of it affects the ratings.

In handis it does though, but is easier to do =)

Crap, just VBasic like the others.
I bet it is the portable chrome, what does not run?
Is it the installer itself...

I can unwrap it from the installer and just zip it?

it has to work in linux, part of my goal

Let me know

The installer seemed to work just fine the 1st time. I also let it install the vb runtime.

The icons were placed on my desktop. When I click on one, the program just 'spins' as if were trying to load but never launches.

I tried deleting the original folders that were created and doing another install. this time I get an error

'vbrun60sp5.exe failed exit code 2147943623'

So I guess it is not installing correctly.

What about just going to the directory that the installer drops...
no registry stuff in windows, in the folder find the .exe and try just running that through wine?

Hi Guys,

I started taking my extra medicine. I wake up feeling pretty well, but by the time the day wears on I become exhausted. And I haven't even done anything. It really sucks. Especially since I like to code during the evening and late at night. So my coding has been reduced quite a bit.

But I'm going to get better...that is all there is to it. But by some chance I'm wrong, just prop me up against the Juke box and put a stiff drink in my hand..

Always wanted to use that line, finally got too!

I have a couple of things I'm designing right now, but going to take me a while to get it done, so I won't say anything now in case it doesn't happen.

Hope all of you are doing well.

Handi

Make sure you remove any country designation also, ie: ARG......BRZ..etc.
